At the annual Binghamton University Foundation’s scholarship luncheon, students who earned scholarships shared their dreams and aspirations with scholarship donors. Through the generosity of these donors, who had already achieved their major life goals and are now giving back to the University that enriched their own lives so much, the Binghamton Foundation provides more than $1.5 million to more than 1,000 scholarship, assistantship and fellowship recipients. For the launch of Bold. Brilliant. Binghamton. The Campaign for Binghamton University, students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends gathered on campus and in New York City to celebrate the University while providing the online event’s live features — hosting 17 chat rooms and announcing the campaign goal during a webcast.

Pat ’65 and Paul Saunders host Binghamton University’s In Vino, Vertas, an evening of of hors d’oeuvres, fine wines and lively discussion of wine’s influence on culture. Wine collectors, Mitchell Lieberman ’80 and Daniel Hoffman ’82 donated wine from their own cellars for the special wine tasting.
