While The Graduate School does not have a required minimum GRE score, individual academic programs may have specific GRE score requirements.  We encourage you to contact your program of interest for additional information. View academic programs and contact information.

Binghamton University’s graduate students consistently score above the national average in all sections of the GREs. 

Academic Test Profile for Admitted Graduate Students for Fall 2012 (all programs):

• Average GRE Verbal Score: 151
• Average GRE Quantitative Score: 156
• Average GRE Writing Score: 4
