Applying for a Scholarship

Different scholarships have different application requirements. Check the one you wish to apply to for specifics.

Many scholarships for graduate students are awarded by the department through a teaching/graduate assistantship. Applicants for graduate study are automatically considered for assistantships through their department, if available.

Other University offices also offer assistantships. View the Graduate School's Tuition and Funding web page for more information about assistantships and other graduate funding opportunities.

Additionally, Binghamton's Career Development Center lists external funding opportunities for graduate students.
