Can I opt out of any fees?

Opting Out of Fees

The comprehensive and activity fees are mandatory for all graduate students, including funded students receiving tuition scholarships.

The only exception is for graduate students living outside the Broome County area and not attending classes. They may request a fee adjustment for the following fees: transportation fee, ID card fee, health fee, and recreation fee. Submit an Out of Area Fee Waiver form to request a fee adjustment.
