Binghamton University campus
Binghamton University has a gorgeous campus that is spread across 930 acres on a wooded hillside above the Susquehanna River in the Binghamton suburb of Vestal. In addition, Binghamton University has an on-campus Nature Preserve with 190 acres of protected forest and wetlands with hiking, biking, and running trails as well as a six-acre pond. The Binghamton metropolitan area was named one of America's Top Ten "Best Green Places" (Country Home, 2007).
