Responsible for management of the operational functions of the Graduate School and for visionary leadership for graduate education on campus, including advancement of scholarship and research. Appointed in August 2003, Dr. Stamp is also a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences. |

Responsible for the oversight of The Graduate School Office. Directs new student orientation, TA orientation, professional development, Clark Fellowship Program, NSF AGEP program, external fellowships, student and faculty award committees, grad director workshops. Lindsay Tremain |
Responsible for outreach and recruitment of graduate students; new student orientation; enrolled student services, including registration, academic progress, and degree completion; development of new degree programs; several support programs, including the Clark Fellowships, Graduate Work Study, and the Graduate Tuition Opportunity Program (GTOP); special awards, including Graduate Student Excellence in Research and Teaching, Faculty Excellence in Graduate Student Mentoring, Dissertation Year Fellowships, and Distinguished Dissertations; and alumni development. She also plays an active role in the Graduate Council, including curriculum, budget, academic standards, and grievance committees. Oversees preparation for Graduate Student Orientation. |

Oversees the funding appointments and academic progress of teaching and graduate assistants (TAGAs), research project assistants (RPAs), Dissertation Year Fellows (DYFs), Graduate Scholars, and other University-funded and external fellows; manages operating, funding and tuition scholarship budgets, and state, Research Foundation and Binghamton Foundation accounts. Responsible for Graduate Work Study from beginning to end. |

Responsible for recruitment & marketing of graduate programs. Manages recruitment and admission processes and policies. Oversees communications to prospects, applicants, newly admitted students, staff and faculty. Represents Graduate School at recruitment events. Trains & supervises recruitment & admissions staff, develops publications, updates information for prospective students, analyzes outcomes of recruitment & marketing efforts. |

Responsible for entry and maintenance of graduate degree and non-degree application records, from date of application to enrollment. Processing deferrals and troubleshooting applications. Responsible for receiving and processing applications including checking new applications, recording student materials, evaluating transcripts, and confirming international student funding certification. Provides support to departments and students on a daily basis regarding various questions and problems in the application process. Mentors and trains undergraduate and graduate student employees. |

Responsible for processing all graduate applications and decisions and manages the admission deposit process. Records admission credentials, evaluates applicant transcripts, and verifies international student funding certification. Interacts with applicants and graduate program staff to solve issues related to applications and ensure successful enrollment. Provides support to departments and students on a daily basis regarding various questions and problems in the application process. |

The Graduate School office is located in the Couper Administration Building AD-134. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm. Tuesday and Thursday hours are by appointment only except during summer. Summer hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm.
