Fast-Track Professional Business Administration (NYC)

The Professional MBA - NYC program is designed with young professionals in mind. Our courses explore the latest tools and strategies in the business world while introducing higher-level theories and applications of a business curriculum to those individuals who already have a solid foundation in management. We aim to create a challenging yet stimulating experience for people who want an MBA but simply cannot quit their full-time job and do not want to take years to finish.

All students matriculated in the program are required to have earned a bachelor's degree in business within the past seven years from an AACSB-accredited business school. The participants move through the Professional MBA program as a cohort, sharing the same educational experiences and working together cooperatively. The lockstep curriculum focuses initially on core business concepts and then broadens while integrating ethical and global issues throughout the program.

Admission Requirements*

The standards maintained by The Graduate School and individual departments and programs are applied to ensure that applicants admitted to the University are well qualified and trained to study at this institution and have a reasonable expectation of successfully completing a graduate program, and who, with the benefit of graduate education, are most likely to contribute substantially to their academic or professional fields.

To be eligible, you must have and provide:

• A bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university
• Complete set of your undergraduate and graduate transcripts. At minimum, a 3.0 GPA is required. See details.

All applicants must submit the following:

• Online graduate degree application and application fee
• Transcripts from each college/university which you attended. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in business/management or accounting within the past seven years from an AACSB-accredited business school.
• Two letters of recommendation
• Personal statement (2-3 pages) describing your reasons for pursuing graduate study, your career aspirations, your special interests within your field, and any unusual features of your background that might need explanation or be of interest to your program's admissions committee. Please specifically address:
  
  • How you will benefit from the program
  • How you will be able to contribute both professionally and academically to the learning of others in the cohort and to the program as a whole
• Resume or Curriculum Vitae (max. 2 pages)
• Official GMAT scores
• A copy of your Beta Gamma Sigma certificate, if applicable. Inductees of Beta Gamma Sigma may qualify to have the GMAT exam score waived from the application requirements. Waivers of this requirement are granted solely at the discretion of the admissions committee.

And, for international applicants:

• International Student Financial Statement form (PDF)
• Official bank statement/proof of support
• Official TOEFL or IELTS scores
