The Graduate School at Binghamton University was one of the first in the nation to offer a university-wide Certificate of Completion in College Teaching and now offers two separate certificates of completion: one geared towards teaching in a college/university and one specifically tailored to teaching in a community college.
The "add-on" certificate(s) recognizes work performed by teaching graduate students over the course of their graduate careers as they prepare for class, develop assignments, evaluate student work, and reflect on their teaching experiences and is designed to prepare graduate students for higher education teaching.
The certificate application deadline is rolling.
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at Binghamton University.
