At the core of a university education is mutual integrity and trust. Binghamton’s Student Academic Honesty Code, adopted by the Faculty Senate in 2002, establishes guidelines for academic integrity on our campus.
If you suspect academic dishonesty in your classroom, consult with the Chair of the Harpur College Academic Honesty Committee and with departmental colleagues to discuss options for addressing the situation. The 2008-2009 Faculty Academic Honesty Handbook provides useful information on preventing and detecting academic dishonesty, and enforcing university rules. Faculty
