BU Body Art Project: Decorating your Human Temple
Tattooing and piercing have become popular in recent years. Many people want body art for many reasons: they like how it looks, they want a new experience, they want to make a unique statement about themselves or it is based on a personal experience or an affiliation with a particular group. This program is open to all students, faculty and staff with various works of body art.
We photograph the body art and record your personal story which describes the significance of this work of art. This program also looks at the culture of body art, safe application, relative risks, and how to care for your body art
.
