Health Education staff and interns in our REACH peer education program (a 4-credit program that uses a street outreach format) participate in many health-related events and offer several wellness campaigns throughout the academic year, including:

Brazieres For A Cure: A Breast Cancer Awareness Project

The Common Threads Quilters Guild of Vestal has brought together quilters and fabric artists from throughout the region to embellish dozens of bras that will be sold to raise money for the American Cancer Society and Encore Plus (a community outreach program that helps women get breast and cervical cancer screenings). Come see the beautiful array of art bras that have been created before they are auctioned November 6 (6:00-9:00 p.m.) at the Binghamton YWCA on Hawley Street.
