The Institute for Asia & Asian Diasporas at Binghamton University sponsors outreach activities to serve the local, regional, and University communities. Our objective is to create fresh and inclusive ways of thinking, studying, teaching and learning about Asia and Asian Diasporas within the university community and beyond. A wide variety of programs and events are offered, including academic conferences at Binghamton University, presentation of lectures by visiting scholars, cultural programs and performances, workshops and resources for K-12 teachers and administrators, support of Binghamton University student groups, and participation in local cultural events.
