Integrative Neuroscience, B.S. (O track or M track)

Undergraduate Degree Requirements:

The BS in Integrative Neuroscience requires 70 or 74 hours composed of 12 core courses and 24 hours of elective credit within the major. The Integrative Neuroscience major was changed to remove the track system that allowed students to choose between the Organismic (O) or Molecular (M) tracks. Students matriculating Fall 2013 or after may only declare in the new Integrative Neuroscience, B.S. major. Students enrolled Spring 2013 or earlier may choose between the new trackless major, the Organismic track, or the Molecular track.

*CHEM 111 can be substituted for BOTH CHEM 107 & CHEM 108, please check with an advisor if you plan to take CHEM 111

  • 2 Credits – Psychology Electives

 *The difference in the tracks lies only within the distribution of credits for the Type A Biology, Type B Biology, and Psychology elective credits.

Important Notes about the major:

To declare a major in Integrative Neuroscience:

If you're interested in declaring a major in the Integrative Neuroscience M track or O track you must have been matriculated at Binghamton in the Spring of 2013 or earlier. You should come to the advising office (S4-230B) to fill out the necessary paperwork. There are no requirements to declare the major. University policy states that a student must be at least a second semester Freshman to declare.
