- Workshop speakers include faculty, staff, graduate students, and university administrators.
- Use an application fee waiver offered by over 100 participating schools.
- Take sponsored trips to graduate school fairs and to visit graduate school programs.
- Have your personal statement and written materials reviewed by staff.
- Use the office telephone to contact graduate schools of interest.
- Access books/pamphlets in our library on researching and succeeding in graduate school.
- Access to Graduate Fellowships.
- Attend professional conferences with a graduate student or faculty mentor at no cost.
- Join a professional organization of your choice in your field.
- Have access to state-of-the-art computers and free color printing.
- Browse program library containing graduate school bulletins, brochures and catalogs.
- McNair students receive priority use on facility computers.
- Access photocopying, color, and laser printing on site.
- Access resume paper, transparencies, folders, computer disks, and other materials.
- Transparencies and poster paper available for presentations.
- Attend picnics, parties, and other gatherings with other McNair scholars.
