Annual RecycleMania contest has begun
From now through April 8, students and employees are being asked to recycle more than ever as Binghamton University competes against colleges and universities across the country to see who can recycle the most.

In 2005, BU ranked 23rd out of 46 participating schools, recycling 27.89 pounds per student. This year, 93 colleges and universities in 33 states are participating.

Look for the recycling team at sporting events in coming weeks.

Cans and bottles redeemed off campus can also help boost BU’s recycling totals. Just e-mail recycle@binghamton. edu with the number of cans and bottles returned.

For more information about RecycleMania, visit http://www. recyclemaniacs.org/index.htm, e-mail recycle@binghamton. edu, or call Juliet Berling at 777-3411.

OCCT offers shuttle service to ITC every 15 minutes
In addition to the shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between the campus and the Innovative Technologies Complex (ITC), OCCT provides shuttle service beginning at 8:45 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. weekdays.

The OCCT shuttle begins at the Mohawk bus stop, with additional stops at Newing and the East Gym before continuing on to the ITC and the return run. Riders can expect the circuit to complete once every half hour.

The campus shuttle runs every 15 minutes beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. from the main bus stop behind the University Union.
