Annual RecycleMania contest has begun
From now through April 8,
students and employees are being
asked to recycle more than
ever as Binghamton University
competes against colleges and
universities across the country
to see who can recycle the
most.
In 2005, BU ranked 23rd out
of 46 participating schools, recycling
27.89 pounds per student.
This year, 93 colleges and
universities in 33 states are
participating.
Look for the recycling team
at sporting events in coming
weeks.
Cans and bottles redeemed
off campus can also help boost
BU’s recycling totals. Just
e-mail recycle@binghamton.
