Homecoming'03 jammed with new activities

All campus departments and organizations are invited to create a float or march in the parade. For more information, contact Katherine Hasenauer at khasena1@binghamton.edu. Also new this year will be the student Variety Show at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 12, in UU-Mandela Room. The show will feature talent and lip-sync performances.
In each categry, winners will receive $200 for first place and $100 for second. Guest emcee will be Alexandra McHale, who made her network debut on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno earlier this year. A fireworks display, sponsored by the Student Association, will light up the skies following the Variety Show. The pyrotechnics will be launched from parking Lot M. Entertainment highlights for Homecoming 2003 include a performance by comedian Tommy Davidson on Thursday, October 9, in the West Gym. Davidson, a performer on Fox's hit show "In Living Color," also headlined the HBO comedy special 'Robert Townsend & His Partners in Crime III.'
Alumnus Neil Berg ?86, will present '100 Years of Broadway' in the Anderson Center Concert Theater at 8 p.m. Saturday. The show, a concert tribute to the Great White Way, features some of Broadway's top stars and fellow BU alumni Jordan Leeds '83, Joanne Borts '82, Kevin Reed '99 and Brett Nichols '03.
