Faculty, staff invited to August 10 Appreciation Day

Binghamton University faculty and staff are invited to attend the 12th annual University Appreciation Day, sponsored by President Lois B. DeFleur on Tuesday, August 10, in front of the Library Tower (Mandela Room in case of rain). The event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will include a buffet-style lunch, music, a gift and drawings for prizes. Binghamton’s own Dave Simek will serve as DJ and master of ceremonies.

To be eligible for the drawings,the official ticket found in the printed invitation must be filled out and deposited in the drum near the DJ table. Only one entry and gift per employee. Watch for your invitation.

Any employees who does not receive an invitation may contact 777-4502.

In order to provide office coverage during the two-hour event, President DeFleur has asked supervisors to adjust employee schedules so that all are able to attend the picnic for at least an hour.
