Student services offices extend hours at beginning of semester
Now through Friday, Septem-ber 9 — two weeks after classes begin — the following student service offices will remain open until 6 p.m.: Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Registrar, Under-graduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions and all Academic Advising offices. This will be a “test” and staff members are asked to collect data regarding the number of customers they serve between 5 and 6 p.m. Classified staff will earn compen-satory time and overtime if anyone works in excess of 40 hours for a workweek. Additional effort by professional staff, as per campus policy, will be viewed as part of the normal professional obligation.
