University Registrar accepts assignment
Terry Kelley-Wallace, associate registrar, has been named acting registrar for the next year. Kelley-Wallace came to the University in 1987 as the assistant to the chairman in the Physics Department and has worked in the Registrar’s Office since 2001.
Schorr will lead the effort to upgrade a number of student systems, including a new recruiting system and financial aid upgrade, and serve as academic affairs liaison to the Computing Center. She will serve on the Data Warehouse committee chaired by Peter Partell, director of Institutional Research and Planning. She will continue to chair the Retention Task Force and serve on the Orientation Team and the University operations group.
“This special assignment will allow us to use Jenny’s outstanding organizational, planning and computer expertise to move to the next level in student systems,”
said Provost Mary Ann Swain. “Jenny’s experience with previous computing and student service solutions makes her the obvious choice in the effort to advance our student systems.”
Schorr came to the University in 1991 and was named registrar in 1998.�
