Awards ceremony held for distinguished professors

Five of Binghamton University’s 26 distinguished faculty attended a first-ever awards ceremony for faculty who have earned the rank of distinguished professor, distinguished service professor, distinguished teaching professor or distinguished librarian, held earlier this year in Albany.

Bernard Bass and Michael Horowitz, distinguished professors emeriti; Ralph Miller, distinguished professor; Sandra Michael, distinguished service professor; and Harry Lincoln, distinguished service professor emeritus, were each presented with a medallion. The University’s remaining distinguished faculty who were unable to attend the ceremony will be mailed their medallions at a later date.
