Show to highlight faculty composers


The Music Department will present Musica Nova in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in FA-Casadesus Recital Hall. Enjoy a unique blend of new music technology and improvisation with guest performer Eric Ross on theremin, keyboard and guitar; guest video artist Mary Ross; Binghamton University’s faculty composers and pianists Wendy Wan-Ki Lee and Paul Goldstaub, pictured above; and flutist Georgetta Maiolo. The program will feature Mario Davidovsky’s Synchronisms #6 for electronic sounds and piano, winner of the 1971 Pulitzer Prize in music, and pieces composed by Lee and Goldstaub.
