Student groups to reunite for Homecoming

A number of student groups will hold reunion gatherings on campus during Homecoming weekend, scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Oct. 2-4.
On Friday evening, Oct. 2, Pi Lambda Phi will hold its 20th anniversary alumni dinner reception at the Mad Moose Saloon in Downtown Binghamton. In addition, the fraternity will have its own section at Tailgate ’09, which will take place in the Events Center parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The National Pan Hellenic Council will hold its first-ever Homecoming Step Show on Saturday afternoon in the Anderson Center’s Osterhout Concert Theater. This event gives Greek organizations an opportunity to showcase their traditions.
Current and former student information assistants will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Call Center, with a party at the Mad Moose in Binghamton on Saturday night.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Caribbean Student Association will hold a networking reception on Saturday afternoon. African Student Organization alumni will have a 20th anniversary party at the Susquehanna Room on Saturday night. The Alumni of Color Network will have a Sunday brunch and meet-and-greet in the Events Center’s TAU Bearcat Club Room.
Also, Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) alumni will have a reception on Friday evening. At the reception, alumni can meet Randall Edouard, the program’s new director, then head to the West Gym for the annual Black Student Union fashion show.
