Leadership for Teens 2007 to be held at Binghamton University

       The Binghamton University Office of Continuing Education and Outreach will offer “The Leadership Experience: Leadership for Teens 2007,” an intensive one week program, starting Monday, July 30, on campus.


      This one-of-a-kind educational program helps participants learn more about their leadership aptitudes, build leadership skills, and prepare them to be successful in college and in life.


     The Leadership for Teens program is taught by an expert staff who focus on key life skills such as decision making, innovation, motivation, negotiation, personal leadership styles, entrepreneurship and risk taking.  The list of skill-building topics include: leadership 101, team-based experiences, service learning projects, presentation skills, decision making, ethics and more.


      Registration for commuting campers is $179 and includes the full program, evening activities, and all program materials.  New for 2007 is a residential option, allowing campers to stay on the Binghamton University campus. Registration is $625 for residential campers and includes the full program, dormitory room, evening activities, meals, and all program materials.
