Binghamton University to host celebrity journalist John Stossel

BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton University’s College Republicans will host a presentation by celebrity guest John Stossel, a libertarian economist, host of Fox Business Network’s “Stossel,” and former co-host of 20/20, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6 in the Mandela Room located in the Binghamton University Union. Held in conjunction with Spring Fling Weekend, this event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided. Doors open at 2:00 p.m.

Stossel will speak on a variety of issues including the economy, current events and education. A question and answer session will follow the main presentation. In addition, Stossel will sign copies of his new book, No They Can’t, which will be available for purchase at the front door of the event.

The event’s main financial sponsor is the Young America's Foundation (YAF), a national outreach organization. The first 100 people through the door will receive a complimentary “Stossel ‘Stache.”
