Binghamton University hosts 17th annual holiday drive for families in need
Binghamton University faculty, students and staff aim to bring joy to the lives of needy families in the Binghamton School District at the 17th annual Student Association holiday drive to be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, in room 133 of the University Union.
University President Lois B. DeFleur and Binghamton Mayor Richard Bucci will be on hand as hundreds of gifts ranging from toys to food certificates will be collected. Gifts will be distributed to over 100 individuals adopted by University faculty and staff.
Tables will be set up to sort the gifts, which will then be transported to the schools and distributed to the families.
