Presentation to highlight Binghamton University's Conole recording collection

A presentation highlighting some of the world’s finest vocal recordings will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, in room 170 of the Fine Arts building on the Binghamton University campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The presentation, titled “Voices within Voices,” will focus on a selection of recordings from the University’s Frances R. Conole Archives, which is devoted to the preservation of 20th century vocal art as recorded over the last 90 years. All categories of vocal art will be covered, ranging from basses to the highest coloratura.

Tom McDonald from the Binghamton Bel Canto Society will lead the discussion. For more information, contact McDonald at 607-724-8250.
