Empire State Games opening ceremonies move to Binghamton University Events Center
Due to the heavy rain, the Empire State Games has decided to move the Wednesday, July 28, opening ceremonies for the Empire State Games, originally scheduled to be held at NYSEG Stadium, to the Events Center on the Binghamton University campus.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be entertainment from the time the doors open until the ceremony begins. No additional tickets will be sold for the opening ceremonies. However, all those who currently hold tickets will be seated. Parking on campus will be free and shuttles will run on a continual basis from outlying lots.
