Binghamton University engineering seniors unveil capstone projects

Teams of seniors from Binghamton University’s Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science will celebrate the conclusion of their academic courses on Friday, May 12, during the Senior Capstone Design presentation. The 30-minute design presentations will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Ground Floor of the Glenn G. Bartle Library and run throughout the day, with the final presentations scheduled at 3:30 p.m.

Over the course of two semesters, students have put everything they’ve learned into the planning, designing, building and testing of a real-world project in a team setting. Friday’s event will feature 27 projects ranging from support device for disability horseback riding to a trinity firefighting robot.
