    Lace up your sneakers for the third annual Tour DeFleur 5K Run to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, on the Binghamton University campus. Registration begins at 10 a.m. in lot E-1 located behind the East Gym tennis courts.

    The race will follow the Binghamton Varsity Cross Country course concluding with an awards presentation.  Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers, as well as the best in each age category. 

    New this year is a 100-yard dash Kids Fun Run, starting at 11:45 a.m. The Binghamton Zoo Mobile will also be hand, as well as a variety of games and activities, a costume contest, and free snacks.

    Runners and walkers can sign up in the East Gym Membership Services Office, Room #139. The pre-registration fee is $7.00 and day of race registration is $10, which includes post-race refreshments. The first 100 registrants will receive a t-shirt.

    Tour DeFleur is sponsored by Sodexo, Campus Recreation, and the Eating Awareness Committee. All proceeds will be donated to the Ross Park Zoo and the Binghamton University Eating Awareness Committee.
