Welcome to the Office of Greek Life at Binghamton University!

As the largest fraternity/ sorority community in the SUNY system, we serve 55 diverse chapters. These UNIVERSITY RECOGNIZED chapters are held to very strict standards and are expected to embody the overall values of our collective fraternity/ sorority community. Whether you are looking for an opportunity to enhance your participation in your major area of study, want to learn more about your own (or others) cultural background, or simply want to meet new friends Greek Life at Binghamton has something for you!

It is important to understand that joining a fraternity/ sorority is privilege, and that membership is a lifetime commitment. We encourage both members and students expressing interest to master the art of time management, because being a student leader and a strong student is something that requires a great deal of focus and dedication.
