In support of the University-wide international mission, the Office of International Programs (OIP) works with Binghamton faculty and staff for the development of a broad array of international education programs to prepare students for global leadership and citizenship. Through collaboration with international partners, OIP builds strong exchange and study-abroad programs. In addition, OIP seeks to integrate the study-abroad experience with international education opportunities on campus by building connections to all areas of the curriculum. A priority is to send as many Binghamton students abroad as possible on well-managed, quality programs. By coordinating arrangements for students who come from abroad on exchange and contractual programs, we seek to enrich the international experience of all students here on the Binghamton campus. OIP's principal areas of responsibility are study abroad advising, study abroad and exchange program management, the oversight of the Global Studies Minor program, coordination of the Dual-Diploma Program with Turkish universities, arrangements for incoming exchange and visiting international students, assistance with the preparation of international agreements, and, as requested, support for international projects.
