You are always welcome to drop by our office in the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center (NAR) G-1. We’re here to answer questions, get you started on the study-abroad process or help you determine your next step. We also have a resource area filled with study-abroad and exchange program brochures and information.

Planning for Study Abroad Powerpoint

Just getting started and have questions about how to choose a program? Need to know how credits will work? Does financial aid work for your program? How does one submit an application? Review the Planning for Study Abroad Powerpoint. This covers the topics commonly reviewed during the information sessions offered at the beginning of each semester, and is a handy resource for students and parents throughout the study abroad process.

General Study Abroad Information Sessions

Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in NAR 120-B
From September 1 to October 14

That's in the upper building of NAR (same building as the Hinman Commons). Walk past the commons, through the double doors and it's the first door on your left. Come any time and bring your study abroad questions to us.

Upcoming Events

  • Representative from the University of East Anglia in England: A recent graduate of the Univ. of East Anglia will be tabling in front of Lecture Hall One on Thursday, October 8 from 12:30-2:00.  Stop by to find out more about the exchange and study abroad programs at East Anglia!
  • General Pre-departure Orientations

    We offer general pre-departure orientations toward the end of each semester for students participating in SUNY or non-SUNY programs. These sessions are required for Global Studies minors, unless they have attended a program-specific orientation at Binghamton or elsewhere. Check back here for the schedule in late November.
