India: Culture, Economy & Society: Student Life

The India-tour component will consist of lec-tures, business and cultural site visits, meetings with local executives, and formal and informal time with local students. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Indian culture to better un-derstand the social, political, business, and economic environment.

Arrival and Living Arrangements

The group will leave from JFK/EWA, arriving in New Delhi the next day. During the trip students will live in mid-tier hotels on a twin-sharing basis. Indian-style meals are included in the program fees. Most local travel will be done as a group in a chartered bus. The cost of most meals is included in the program cost, and meal-time will be together as a group. All effort will be made to provide students with regular internet access during the program. Students will have convenient access to telephone facilities to call the U.S. (international charges as required by the telecom operator will apply).
