The Lancaster University program is offered as an exchange program and as a study abroad program. Under the exchange agreement, students at Binghamton and Lancaster pay for tuition and fees at their home campuses and the exchange places. There currently are a number of (limited) exchange positions available, and applying for exchange is a good way to save on program costs. The costs for the exchange program can be viewed as follows:
Under the study abroad scheme, Binghamton students can study at the Lancaster University by paying the Lancaster tuition. SUNY tuition and a "tuition differential" together cover tuition and fees for the program. The cost for the study abroad program can be viewed as follows:
Federal and New York State financial aid is generally applicable to study abroad programs. The Binghamton Office of Financial Aid Services is able to consider only the applications of students matriculated at Binghamton for degree study. Other SUNY and non-SUNY students should contact the financial aid office on the home campus for information about eligibility for all aid programs.
