The Semester-in-London application consists of an application form, a personal essay, two letters of recommendation, and an academic transcript.
Application can be made at any time prior to November 2. However, you are strongly advised to apply as early as possible. The program will follow a "rolling admission" policy: applications will be reviewed as they are received and students with strong qualifications will be considered for admission as soon as their files are complete. All application materials should be returned to the Department of English, General Literature, and Rhetoric or to the Office of International Programs.
The program is open to all students who have completed their freshman year, though preference is normally given to juniors and seniors; SUNY graduating seniors are welcome to participate in this program as their final semester of undergraduate work. The GPA requirement for the program is 2.5.
An orientation meeting and dinner/mixer for those accepted into the program will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December sixth.
Applications are available at the London Desk, in the Office of International Programs, or you may download one here.
