The Al Akhawayn University exchange program is open to all students in all majors, undergraduate or graduate. An overall grade point average of B is normally required. Prior study of Arabic language is desirable but not required.
The program is most appropriate for students who have the maturity and self-reliance to adjust to a predominant culture in Morocco that is very different from the predominant culture in the United States. Applications from non-SUNY as well as SUNY students are welcome.
Applications forms are available here, or from Binghamton University's Office of International Programs. The application deadline is March 15 for fall semester and October 15 for spring semester. Fully completed applications will be considered on a rolling admission basis beginning February 1 and October 1. Late applications are acceptable on a space-available basis.
