Professor Zu-yan Chen, Director of the Binghamton University Chinese Program in the German, Russian and East Asian Languages Department, is the Binghamton Campus Faculty Director for the Exchange and Study Abroad Program at Soochow University; he will answer questions about the program and provide academic advising. Students must have completed the equivalent of one year of college level Chinese language instruction (CHIN 204 at BU). An overall 3.0 grade point average is required as well as a 3.0 average in Chinese language courses. Students must be in their sophomore, junior or senior year to participate in the program.
The application deadline for the fall semester and academic year is April 1 . The application deadline for the spring semester is October 15.
