Students make their own travel arrangements.  At Utrecht the International Office greets new students and provides a comprehensive orientation.  There are many clubs and societies for students to participate in.

Participants live alongside Dutch and other international  students.  Students who participate in the program at UCU will live on campus in residence halls and eat in the UCU dining hall. Rooms are singles, and students share bathrooms, and common areas.  Students who participate in the through through USE, will be provided with assistance in finding housing off-campus.

At USE, students live off campus in a range of furnished accommodations reserved especially for international students and Utrecht University staff.
