What's New?

The Parking Services office is back in the Couper Administration Building.

Online Payment is no longer available for Parking Permits

The online service is only available during August and the beginning of September. The online parking permit payment system will allow students, faculty and staff who are returning customers of Parking Services to buy their parking permits from anywhere with a Web browser. Faculty and Staff vehicle decal/registration will be sent to their campus address through campus mail. Students will continue to pick up their permits during the first week of School.

Pay-by-Space and Parking Meter rates are to increase to $1 per hour on August 5, 2013.

Having trouble finding a parking spot at peak times? Here are some solutions.

Parking spaces are usually available in lots H, I, ZZ North, and ZZ South.

Consider using the campus shuttle and/or OCCT or Broome Transit buses.

New Parking Lots Added!

University Downtown Center parking lot is a restricted use lot. It is officially designated as a Commuter Lot and a Snow Lot. From 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, ONLY commuter students who are registered for classes and faculty/staff who have been granted access are allowed to park at the University Downtown Center. Commuter students and faculty/staff must display valid parking permits or decals AND park in their designated areas. The area formerly designated the Visitor Lot is now an open lot that can be used by either commuter students or faculty/staff on a first-come, first-served basis unless the lot is reserved for a special event.

The nine newly created visitor's spaces are to be used by those not affiliated with the University. Visitors must obtain a guest pass from the department visited to exit the lot.

After 5 p.m. and on weekends, residential students who are registered for courses at the University Downtown Center and have a valid parking decal may also park in the lot.
