Political Science Undergraduate Program

Our undergraduate major is one of Harpur College's largest, with particular strengths in politics and law, comparative political institutions, Civil War and repression, and international relations. A BA degree in political science prepares you for a career in journalism, business or public administration. Our graduates are employed in government agencies, law firms and businesses, and many pursue advanced studies in the field to become researchers, professors and teachers. The program provides you with a broad background in political science, but also allows you to specialize in one or both of these concentrations:
