The Department of Psychology at the State University of New York at Binghamton invites applications for one tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin Fall 2010, pending budgetary approval. The position will be in developmental cognitive neuroscience, broadly construed.
We seek a developmental cognitive neuroscientist whose methods might include (but are not limited to) neuropsychology, human electrophysiology, optical imaging, or transcranial magnetic stimulation.
Current research in the Cognitive Sciences program has strengths in the domains of visual and auditory perception, learning and memory, language processing, executive function, and development and aging.
Successful candidate(s) will be expected to establish an independent research program capable of attracting external funding and demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching.
