All laboratories and offices in the Psychology Department are Ethernet-linked to University computers, with access to on-line library collections as well as the World Wide Web. The three buildings housing the Psychology Department, Science IV, Clearview, and the Institute for Child Development, contain faculty and graduate student offices as well as cutting edge cognitive and behavioral neuroscience laboratories, observation rooms, animal vivaria, and a research and training psychological clinic.
The Psychology Department also maintains an extensive collection of computer equipment in the in-house Computer Room. The equipment includes PC and Macintosh computers with extensive graphics, image editing, statistical analysis and word processing software. The Computer Room also houses laser printers, image scanners, and facilities for editing video tapes and making slides.
The Psychology Department is in close physical proximity to the Science Library (part of the University Library system), which house more than 200,000 volumes and is equipped with a large number of on-line literature databases accessible via the WWW.
