The Department of Residential Life is looking for individuals who would like to make a positive impact on our university.  We are looking for enthusiastic people with leadership skills who celebrate diversity and enjoy being a part of a team.


Resident Director

We have 21 full-time, live-in, professional Resident Directors (RD) to manage our traditional residence halls.  An RD's main focus is to provide a living environment conducive to learning.  We are now accepting applications for fall 2014 anticipated openings.  Applicants must submit their cover letter, resume and contact information for three references to our online management system.

Assistant Residential Coordinator

In addition to the RD, some halls are managed by an Assistant Residential Coordinator (ARC).  An ARC is a graduate student who works with the RD and student staff to help provide a living environment conducive to learning. Community Director

Our full-time, live-in, professional Community Director (CD) manages our on-campus apartment communities, Hillside and Susquehanna. The CD's main focus is to provide leadership to their staff and residents while providing a living-learning environment.

Assistant Directors

Assistant Director

Each of our six residential communities is overseen by an Assistant Director (AD) of Residential Life.  An AD is a mid-level manager whose main focus is to build a cohesive staff, manage their area office and serve as a liaison between the central office and the residential community to which they are assigned.
