Gorgeous campus, fantastic facilities

The Binghamton campus, spread over 930 acres on a wooded hillside above the Susquehanna River, features facilities that are modern, attractive, accessible and well-maintained. The on-campus Nature Preserve boasts 190 acres of protected forest and wetlands with hiking/biking/running trails and a six-acre pond.

The 8,000 seat Events Center is home to the Division I Basketball team, as well as a venue for events and concerts including, Bob Dylan, Dashboard Confessional, Drake, Harry Connick Jr. Green Day, Ludacris, Ingrid Michaelson, Lewis Black, John Stewart, Foo Fighters, Man vs. Food's Adam Richmond and Aziz Ansari.

The Anderson Center for the Performing Arts showcases a "transforming," 1,200-seat theater with a retractable rear wall for lawn seating.

Campus recreational facilties include two large gymnasiums with swimming pools, a fitness center, an indoor track, and basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts.

The University Union houses an array of facilities including meeting rooms, lounges, and programming space including the new Career Development Center and Marketplace slated to reopen in February '14. The Dean of Student's office can be found on the second floor, in addition to the campus activities office and the multicultural resource center. The Union also houses the offices for student government and student organizations, and recreational facilities including billiards, bowling and table tennis. Other amenities include a full service bank and the Barnes and Noble bookstore.
