As a New York State Center of Excellence, S3IP supports educational programs from the K-12 level through to the graduate level that increases students’ exposure to leading edge research in science and engineering. We engage students in complex small scale systems research, using a cross-disciplinary team approach to problem-solving that involves active collaboration with industrial researchers and an emphasis on relevance to industrial needs.
