Once a member of the program and of Binghamton University, there may be many questions you have, or may be interested in furthering your education or enriching your experiences at the school. The Scholars Guide to Binghamton is a resource that was compiled by a past graduate of the Scholars Program and answers many questions and offers many helpful suggestions to current Scholar students. You can find additional information about the program in the Scholars Handbook.
As graduation approaches please make sure that you have fulfilled all of your major's requirements and that of the Scholars Program. Please refer to the Checklist of Program Requirements as you progress through your time at Binghamton University.
Additionally, in order to graduate a participant in the Scholars Program, in order to be recognized at Graduation, must have filled out the appropriate applications for recognition and to ensure that you have fulfilled all requirements. Application III is for students who are about to begin work on the research for their Scholars Activity. Each Activity must be approved before a student may begin work on their Activity. Application IV is for students who are planning to graduate and need to complete the physical capstone for the program. This form also is a notification to the program directors of a student's intent on anticipated graduation.
