Undergraduate Semester Checklist
Before semester starts
Beginning of semester
- Register for Courses
- Clear holds on account that may prevent registration
- Pay outstanding on student account in order to be eligible to pre-register
- Confirm Enrollment
- Pay your semester bill via QuikPAY and add an Authorized User. (Unless you add an authorized payer, only you will be able to view, access and pay your bill.)
- Add/drop deadline (approximately 2 weeks into semester)
- Code of Conduct
- Grade option change (PDF)
- Complete AlcoholWise (First-time, full-time undergraduate students)
- Check DARS and meet with academic advisor if necessary
- Update all personal and emergency contact info
Mid semester
- If graduating at end of semester, file an Application for Degree and Commencement Participation Form, both available at www.commencement.binghamton.edu.
- Late add/drop deadline (fee)
- Declare your major (deadline: end of sophomore year)
- Withdrawal Deadline
- Pre-register for next semester
- Check Final Exam Schedule
- If graduating at end of semester, clear balance to assure diploma is mailed
- Continue to pay your bill, if student account balance
End of semester
- Clear student account balance and holds
- Check grades
