Significant international experience awaits you at some of the best management schools around the world! A cooperative arrangement between the SUNY campuses allows you to choose a study abroad program from AACSB-accredited business schools and other top business programs around the world. For these programs you can obtain credit approvals from Binghamton University as well as retain access to your financial aid.
To learn
more about these opportunities, visit the home page of the SUNY campus Office of International Programs which sponsors the program that interests you and the home page of the corresponding university. Follow up with an advising appointment with Brian Perry (AA-142), a general information session in the Binghamton Office of International Programs(OIP), and an advising appointment with a study abroad advisor in OIP (777-2336; oip@binghamton.edu).
The SOM faculty strongly encourages you to include a study-abroad experience in your undergraduate education. It is advisable to start early in exploring the international opportunities available through Binghamton University and the entire SUNY system. Since the usual courses to be taken abroad are language and cultural, it is common to undertake this sort of study abroad in the sophomore year, especially in the spring semester. Details on over 250 programs offered by the various SUNY schools are available from the Office of International Programs, located in NAR-G1. See link below to visit their website. Remember - start planning early! Since management coursework is only accepted from business schools at top foreign universities, the School is developing relationships with such international universities to allow its students to take management coursework while studying abroad.
