How to Apply

Applications Deadline

Admission to the Executive MBA Program is done on a rolling basis with early applications encouraged. If possible, potential applicants should contact Allie DeMartino prior to submitting an application.

Program Fee

The fee is prorated by semester based upon number of credit hours completed and will be due one week prior to the start of each semester. The current program fee is $43,160, which covers instruction, university tuition and fees, books and materials, and a three-day residency weekend in Binghamton.

Admissions Criteria and Process

Participants must have at least an undergraduate degree, five or more years of professional experience, and the potential and motivation to actively contribute to the program as well as their professional responsibilities throughout the program's duration. It is recommended that applicants notify their employers regarding the time and effort required for this program in advance.

Application requirements include:

For applicants holding advanced degrees, the GMAT requirement may be waived on a case-by-case basis. The GMAT may also be waived based on the length and nature of the applicant's work experience. Applicants with fewer than seven years of post-bachelor's work experience are required to submit their GMAT score. The GMAT may also be recommended to strengthen an application. GMAT scores more than five years old will be considered only on a case-by-case basis.

Application Instructions

To apply online, please follow these instructions:

  • Visit the Graduate School website
  • Choose Master's or Doctoral Graduate Degree
  • Click "Online Application" under Step 1.
  • Create a Login ID and a PIN.
  • Choose "Grad- Domestic Application" if you are a U.S. citizen, or "Grad- International Application" if you are not.
  • Choose "Fall 2013" and input your full name.
  • Fill out all seven components of the application checklist.
  • Under "Planned Course of Study" choose "Management, Executive MBA (Manhattan)"
  • For the question "Do you intend to study fulltime?" choose "Yes."
  • For the question "Are you applying for a dual degree?" choose "No".
  • Follow the rest of the application steps here.

After submitting an application, you can check its status online. Please be aware that our system will show your application as "incomplete" until our office makes a final decision on your application.
