1. What is the Fast-Track Professional MBA-NYC application deadline?

Answer:
Admission to the Fast-Track Professional MBA Program in New York City is done on a rolling basis with early applications encouraged. If possible, potential applicants should contact Robert Thomas or George Bobinski prior to submitting their application.

2. Will there be information sessions?

Answer:

3. What is the tuition cost?

Answer:
The Professional MBA program in New York City is remarkably affordable. The tuition cost for the class of 2010 is $25,400 and is payable in installments of $8,300 per semester and a $500 orientation fee.

4. What are the requirements for admission to the Binghamton University Professional MBA program in New York City?

Answer:
Individuals must have received their Bachelor's degree in the past 7 years. The Bachelor's degree must be in business or a business-related field from an AACSB accredited business school. Participants must be highly motivated and have the ability to contribute to the learning of cohorts.

Application requirements include completion of the online Graduate School Application, a copy of the applicant's undergraduate transcript(s), two letters of recommendation, a resume, a personal statement,  and scores from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).

5. Am I required to take the GMAT Exam?

Answer:
Taking the GMAT is mandatory for admission into the Professional MBA program in New York City.

Official GMAT scores must be requested from Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®). Upon request, these scores will be sent directly to Binghamton University.

6. What role does the standardized test play in the admissions process?

Answer:
The GMAT test score plays an important part in the admission process. It is only one component of the application; however a good test score will certainly improve your chance for admission. Other factors, such as academic record, work experience, and letters of recommendation, also play a critical role in the admissions process.

7. Do I need to take the TOEFL?

Answer: TOEFL is not required if you have received a collegiate degree from a U.S. institution or if you have received a degree from an institution in a country whose native language is English.

8. How many hours a week should I expect to spend on schoolwork?

Answer:
Participants, on average, spend approximately 20 hours per week on “outside of classroom” program coursework. This number fluctuates throughout the duration of the program. Some of this time may be spent in team meetings, readings, and presentation preparation.

9. When and where are the classes held?

Answer:
Classes are scheduled on Saturdays in Midtown Manhattan at the State University of New York State College of Optometry between 8:30 AM and 5 PM. Classes are occasionally held on Friday evenings for make-up sessions (due to inclement weather, etc.).

Answer:
Students will need to bring a laptop equipped with the latest Microsoft Office Software to approximately 10 of the class sessions.
